As of late, I haven't felt like taking pictures, let alone editing the thousands [it seems] that lurk in files on my computer. I have a wonderful new monitor that doesn't screw up colors, and all I can think about is making lists. I love to clean and to organize and all that jazz. Right now, all I want to do is fix my school schedule for the summer and get better grades. I don't seem to care about photography at the moment, and it upsets me. Why is it that I have such an A.D.D approach to things I love to do? I just felt the need to add the fact that I added an egg to Ramen today. There's something wrong with that.

Okay, I am going to make a small list of all the thoughts that are going through my head:

-national guard
-criminal justice
-grades
-school
-classes
-summer
-job
-phone
-car
-sunglasses
-laptop
-photos
-friends
-room mate
-exercise
-water
-money
-homework

There is so much to do, and I feel pressured to do it all, when half of that isn't worthwhile. Half of that are just goals I feel that I have to do. You know those people that have lists like "30 things to do before I turn 30"? I have a list of things that I won't be satisfied with life until I fulfill.

I just want more time. I hate being 19. I feel...wasteful.

[edit: oh and heres a great big F you to all the people who perpetuate the idea that cell phone pictures are "popular photography". To those of you who some girl who has taken a picture of herself with her camera phone with bug-eyed sunglasses on, you are ruining the name of photography, and dragging every good photographers name through the mud. Man Ray, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Dorthea Lange...THESE PEOPLE ARE GODS. We can only hope to live up the same standards that these people have set. There are so many talented people out there, and budding artists that should be recognized. But if I look at the Popular Photography category one more time, and see a cell pic of some girl with her fingers in a peace sign--I will go ballistic. 1.3 Megapixels IS NOT ART ]
